- Carol Palmer and Diane Allen of the Monmouth County Master Gardeners will provide a slide presentation
on "How to Create a Garden Made for the Shade" at the May 8th meeting of the Allentown Garden Club.
Each Master Gardener receives 60 hours of training from the Rutgers University Cooperative Extension
and is committed to providing gardening and horticultural services to local communities.
- The public is cordially invited to attend. Beginners and experts alike from the surrounding area are
welcome to join. The club meets the 2nd Thurs. of each month at the church (next to LaPiazza).

HISTORY OF HERITAGE PARK

- Come and listen to the history of
the Lenni Lenape Indians in the very place where they lived! More than 1,000 Lenni Lenape Indians once
lived in Monmouth County with at least one large settlement and two smaller settlements in Heritage Park.
Brenda Davis, historian and naturalist, will tell
the story of the native Americans here and in Monmouth County.
- No entrance fee. Bring a lawn chair.

COMMUNITY CHRISTIAN CHOIR THEATER CAMPS
- For children 3rd grade to 6th grade.
